The Gloss shop opened its doors to Zurich’s urban lifestyle crowd on November 1st 2000 and immediately established itself, starting from day one.

The stylish lounge is located in the heart of the city’s up and coming hotspot, the ‘district 5’. A thankful location indeed: The shop is surrounded by the hippest clubs, cultural hangouts and finest gastronomy in town. A place where trends are created and definitely seen.

The unique assortment consists of Cheap Monday, April 77 and Surface to Air, to name just a few. A playful and carefully selected combination for everyone who has an eye for the exclusive and wants to be more than just a regular fashion victim. The Gloss is the fashion source in the middle of the burning heart of urban Zurich.

In June 2005 The Gloss went east. The first franchise store was opened in the xintiendi district in Shanghai, China. The reactions have been amazing. The media interest was massive and Shanghai’s streetwear scene found a new attraction.

Patrick Peritz (owner of the fashion design agency ‘F.E.T.I.S.H.’) forms the shop’s strength with a complementing management, guaranteeing the perfect and endless shine of The Gloss.
